AppExchange App Review Series Part – 4 is a part of blog series – AppExchange App Review Series which is inclined to help you in selection process for the reason I’ll try picking up & installing newly added applications randomly and provide you on-hands detailed information about work ability of that app and prospects down the line.
Like there’s a different key to every lock, different solution to every problem and different opinion for every thought, in the same way there are many solutions to a given requirement.All we need to decide is which one best suites our requirement in terms of business possibilities, cost-effectiveness, usability, enhancements, efforts and prospects.
Salesforce provides widest range of products and applications which are already developed that might suite your requirement and help you in generating businesses out of it, all you need to diagnose is which application is much closer to match your requirement and how can you customize it accordingly.
There’s one “Suite” where all the answers to your problem resides, we call it “App-Exchange”. All applications that reside here are well tested and uniqueness is maintained on priority and with each application there’s a Functional Guide to help you get an insight about the app.
Here we have five new apps this March-April 2017:

Application 1.

Name: Cloud Explorer Dataloader

Category: Free app.

Overview: Cloud Explorer Dataloader provides intuitive drag n’ drop to migrate data across multiple Salesforce orgs similar to the user-friendliness of Windows/Mac. Copying parent and related list records has never been this easy and fast!

  • Copy records like copying files in Windows/Mac. If you can use File Explorer, you can use Cloud Explorer Dataloader.
  • Copy the related list and parent records of the data in a single drag and drop operation.
  • Cloud Explorer is 50X faster than Salesforce Data Loader end-to-end when copying parent and child records. No tool on the market is faster or easier for Salesforce data migration.

From User’s Perspective

  • With a managed group of components, just a one tab app, though useful & powerful, is like a small utility app, but has dimensions all around.
  • Ease to use and manage, exporting the csv’s and other functionalities like data transfer is made easy, easy manageable drag & drop mapping make it as comfortable as one can think of.

Application 2.

Name: Centraya for Salesforce

Category: Paid app.

Overview: Centraya is the European Cloud Access Security Broker. Centraya for Salesforce is built to meet the highest requirements for data privacy. Delivered with industry standard encryption mechanisms it protects your data before it is stored in the cloud.

  • High Performance Security – The blink of an eye lasts for 300 ms. Our performance tests of encrypting and decrypting information require less than 50 ms on average. We want to secure cloud usage – not slow it down. That is a claim that we guarantee.
  • Only you have the Keys to Your Data – Centraya is delivered as a turnkey-solution. All keys are generated by you – therefore only you have access to the keys. There is no master key, no backdoor so no clenches.

From User’s Perspective

  • This app represents exploring the day to day use cases. As for every business, the most important aspect is the Customers and data related to those customers. Corrupt and insecure data certainly depicts, you compromising the trust of your customers.
  • There are multiple instances each day about cyber crime and theft, so from security point of view this app is of optimum use and can play an important part in protecting your business data, end to end through encryption.

Application 3.

Name: Freight Trans Manager by ASUCCINI

Category: Paid app.

Overview: Freight Trans Manager is an all-in-one web based app for trucking and transportation companies to enable them to:

  • Track and update load status from desktop or mobile, anytime and from anywhere
  • Maintain fleet’s details as well as drivers/owner operators information
  • Update the load status directly by driver through an automated emailing system
  • Generate instant invoices to get paid as quickly as possible
  • Generate immediate and scheduled driver settlements
  • Update pay status, set pay date and log all follow-up communications (calls, emails, etc.)
  • Get reports on loads by different criteria such as truck, dispatcher as well as time periods
  • Visualize the reports by utilizing charts of their choice (pie, bar, funnel…)

From User’s Perspective

  • This is a multipurpose application, can be used/implemented in almost every cargo/ shipment/ delivery/ transport/ goods carrier business.
  • Gives the users flexibility to account all expenses | overheads | Revenue charts at one place.
  • End to End cargo/shipment info. and status can be stored and retrieved, I liked the concept.
  • Integration to the google map and generating receipts and invoices is add on value.

Application 4.

Name: Live Agent Experience Feedback in Salesforce – Saticle

Category: Paid app.

Overview: Saticle turns your agents into influencers by automating internal feedback collection, helping you deliver a better agent experience, and your agents deliver better service to your customers.

  • Enable agents to continuously share feedback about the tools they work with and their work environment.
  • Prioritize internal development and tool acquisition by identifying what your agents need most.
  • Address live issues as soon as those are reported using a centralized agent experience console.

From User’s Perspective

  • This is an nice app for collecting the feedbacks from agents, helps the support agents deliver what is expected by your customers.
  • Having centralized console for reporting the live issues is a add-on for living up the live issues and better outcomes.
  • Built in Statistics to find the Top-Influencers & User experiences.
  • Issues faced by the agents can be reported live and this is what makes it different.

Application 5.

Name: Dooly Free Trial – Enterprise Notes Platform

Category: Free app.

Overview: Taking notes in Dooly eliminates grunt work while bringing important sales resources to you. Cut the time you spend on CRM updates and chasing information, so you can focus on customers

  • Simple note-taking that links your notes back to Salesforce, enables collaboration across your team and ensures all of your customer interactions are in one place.
  • Grunt work disappears as Dooly auto-updates Salesforce for you, connecting anything in your notes directly to any field in Salesforce. Push out notifications to Slack to any users subscribing to keywords and changes in your deals.
  • Be smarter in your meetings. Dooly pushes relevant content to you based on what you capture in your notes. Uncover social profiles of people in your meetings, receive win/loss data, white papers etc to pair with what your customers tell you.

From User’s Perspective

  • Smarter app that helps you create smarter, well organized notes in Salesforce, this can be set with Google calendar to jump on the right notes at the right time, so keeps you updated.
  • This app is a well organized utility, covers most of the use cases that helps you keep updated of the tasks and meeting notes, this can be your very effective companion in managing all details at one place.
  • Add users and names your notes, keep all information at one place.
